There are two Mixed Level classes. Monday night and Tuesday morning. The objective of this class is to further explore the tools learned in the Introductory class while encouraging actors to make bolder choices. This is for actors of all experience levels.
The Tuesday night class is a combination of Intermediate and Advanced Actors. The objective of this class is to build on the tools and skills acquired in the Beginner's Class and to begin more character development work. This is for actors with an understanding of the technique and proficient in using it with at least six months training at the studio.
The Wednesday night class is the Advanced Class. The objective of this class is to continue building on the tools learned in prior classes and to focus more on deeper character work. Actors in the Advanced Class have been at the studio for over a year and are working actors.
The Introductory Class meets every Thursday for 3 hours and goes month to month. The objective of this class is to introduce actors to the technique, its terminology, how to break down a scene and implement the tools, (overall objective, scene objective, obstacles, substitution, place and moment before, inner objects, line between the lines, prior circumstances, primary emotion, beats and actions). This is for actors new to the craft. Once actors have mastered the technique, they will be invited to matriculate to one of the Mixed Level or Advanced Classes. This class is taught by a trained Advanced Actor.
